It was another good month for the Badger State, as the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development released the latest local job figures for October. The report revealed a decline in unemployment rates across all 12 metropolitan statistical areas (MSAs) last month.
One statistical area is located in Southeast Wisconsin – the Racine area. There, unemployment fell 0.3 percent to 3.4 percent. That number is trending in the right direction heading toward the new year.
Overall, the state’s cities and counties had a positive month, as unemployment rates declined or went unchanged in all 35 major cities and all 72 counties. The full local employment report can be found here.
